Tenuta di Ferento bottles not only excellent oils but also the know-how of the country people that renew this ancient rite – going back more than two thousand years – every year. It is only thanks to the manual nature of olive growing that we are able to guarantee the exceptional quality and genuineness of the end product and valorise the products typical of our territory.
Muraccio extra virgin olive oil comes from the fruit of 14,000 age-old olive trees of different varieties (canino, leccino, frantoio and pendolino) grown on the Tenuta di Ferento.
Olives are selected by hand and cold pressed within 24-48 hours of being picked, bestowing on Muraccio oil its unique properties. The union of the territory’s history, culture and culinary traditions is closely tied up with the presence of olive oil: that is why Muraccio is an oil that stands out.
